The sanctuary and deep-dive workshop where youth and young adults ages 11 to 24 build real hardware, master Linux, code with AI, and launch their careers.
We never mix 11-year-olds with older adults. Every cohort operates in dedicated time slots with age-appropriate curriculum, expectations, and mentor ratios.
Exploratory hardware teardowns, building simple electronics, deploying local offline AI, and discovering what holds the student's natural curiosity and focus.
Deep systems work: Linux terminal mastery, Python automation, custom hardware diagnostics, and developing a capstone project inside one of our 8 Applied Pathway Studios.
Pure economic velocity for young adults: IT systems foundations, Linux administration skills, trade business formation (LLC, quoting, AI marketing), and career pathway alignment.
AIVillage provides a constructive alternative to punitive tasks by engaging young people in hands-on computer hardware assembly, systems thinking, and technical problem-solving.
We maintain detailed, verifiable attendance and skill-demonstration logs for review by referring agencies, juvenile probation officers, and youth advocates; formal acceptance remains with the referring authority.
